It is a great privilege to be the Chair of Desborough Town Council, a position I last held in 1984. Much has changed in the intervening years, Desborough has grown, technology has changed our lives and new challenges lie ahead.

I am conscious that the first year of the new council is a crucial period as we begin to set out our aims our hopes and our vision for the future. The council is there to serve local people and, whatever the challenges, we can face them better if we listen to, and have the support of, Desborough residents.
