CCTV upgrade is progressing (slowly)

The addition of CCTV cameras at new locations and the upgrade to the existing cameras will improve the coverage and the quality of the images.

We all want to feel safe on our streets and secure in our homes and whilst cameras are not always the answer they may help to reduce or deter crime in the the town.

This has been a huge investment (over £60,00) and Labour Councillors are monitoring the contract to make sure Desborough residents get value for money. There is still work to do on cameras 4, 5 and 11 and we will be watching this closely in the coming weeks.
