Proxy Votes

Voting by proxy means getting someone to vote on your behalf. You can only apply for a proxy vote under certain circumstances, including: being away on polling day, having a medical issue or disability, not being able to vote in person because of work or military service. If you have any problems getting the form (or have no access to a printer) simply e-mail desboroughblp@gmail.com and let us know your address and we will drop a form to your house. Please state how many forms you need.

PLEASE NOTE –

New applications to vote by proxy at this election must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Municipal Offices, Bowling Green Road, Kettering, NN15 7QX by 5pm on Wednesday, 27 July 2022.

Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election on grounds of physical incapacity or for work / service reasons must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at Municipal Offices, Bowling Green Road, Kettering, NN15 7QX by 5pm on Thursday, 4 August 2022. The physical incapacity must have occurred after 5 pm on Wednesday, 27 July 2022. To apply on the grounds of work/service, the person must have become aware that they cannot go to the polling station in person after 5 pm on Wednesday, 27 July 2022.
