North Northants Council Budget –
Not sure who thought that splitting Northamptonshire into two Unitary Authorities would somehow make the financial problems disappear but there are worrying projections regarding the NNC funding gap totalling over £190 million over the next four years.
‘Whilst the position is balanced for 2024-25, the gap in 2025-26 increases to £41.5m, in 2026-27 to £60.9m and in 2027-28 to £87.7m’.
