The Labour Party has had a branch in Desborough for as long as anyone can remember. Working in the community, serving on the Council and campaigning on the issues that affect local residents.
Some residents may remember the work done by Walter Manton, Harold Goodman and Tony Allen in the days when we had our own Urban District Council. More recently Labour Councillors – Roger Morris, Fred Panter, David Coe, Alan Panter and Derek Fox were well known and very active in the town.
Some of our current members have been involved for over fifty years but new members are always welcome and we see ourselves as more of a family in this small market town.
