John Prescott 1938 – 2008

Sorry to hear that John Prescott has passed away and our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.

John was the minister responsible for the decision to build the £11.5 million Rothwell Desborough bypass to take heavy traffic out of our town centres and locally we owe him our thanks for that.

John Prescott came to Desborough on his ‘Battle Bus’ in June 2001 to support our election campaign.
